Why Travel with Widows in the Wild?
To go somewhere where you’re not defined by the title of the “grieving widow” (no more platitudes and looks of pity).
To take the space to grieve, without the expectations of others (no more hiding in the car to cry).
To connect with new people with a similar shared experience (and understand you in a way your friends can’t).
To experience JOY with more ease (a sunset on top of the mountain, a sunrise over the ocean, the taste of gelato down a tiny cobblestone alley)
To gain a new perspective. (Grief tends to force us inward - travel allows us to savor external pleasures - new foods, new views, new experiences, new people)
To have an amazing time (you deserve it!)
